Orangutan Tour Tanjung Puting – Buluh River – Tanjung Keluang Beach

ORANGTAN TOUR TANJUNG PUTING – BULUH RIVER – TANJUNG KELUANG BEACH

FIRST DAY

Pangkalan Bun / Airport - Kumai – Tanjung Harapan

After arriving at the airport, you will be picked up by your guide, and will be taken to Kumai. Arriving at the dock, you will be taken to the Boat/Klotok and be introduced to a team which consists of a boat/Klotok captain, a boat crew, a guide, and a cook who will accompany you during your Orangutan Tour Tanjung Puting

Your trip will then be continued using the boat / Klotok in a small river called Sekonyer river to the first camp Tanjung Harapan to see the process of feeding Orangutans at 3 PM. After that  you go back to the boat/Klotok and continue your trip along the river to the next camp. During your voyage you can see a lot of animals such as long – tailed monkeys, Proboscis monkeys, and birds. Arriving there, you will stay overnight on the boat / Klotok.

SECOND DAY

Tanjung Harapan – Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leakey

After waking up and having breakfast at 7 AM, you can see the process of feeding Orangutans in Pondok Tangguy at 9 AM. After that you go back to the boat/Klotok to continue your trip to the third camp that is Camp Leakey. The trip from Pondok Tangguy to Camp Leakey takes about 1 hour. During the trip there will also be a lot of wild animals at the bank of the river. Arriving at Camp Leakey  you have your lunch at 12 AM. Before 2 PM, you will be taken into the forest to see the process of feeding Orangutans. The trip takes about 3 kilometers. Here you will see Orangutans which will be called from the forest to be fed on a stage. After that you go back to the boat/Klotok and stay overnight at Camp Leakey area.

THIRD DAY

Sekonyer River – Buluh River

In the morning at 06.00 you will be picked up by a speedboat to continue the journey to the orangutan feeding location at Buluh River, the journey will take about 1 hour by speedboat. Arriving there you will find a different atmosphere from the location on the Sekonyer River, because here the atmosphere is really still natural because there are no residents living here, orangutan feeding is done at 09.00. At night you will sleep at the forest guard post and we have provided equipment for sleeping.

FOURTH DAY

Buluh River – Tanjung Keluang Beach

After waking up and having breakfast, the boat  Klotok will go to the sea. To reach the beach that is a cape called Tanjung Keluang, it takes about 1 hour. Arriving here, you can swim and see the tortoise conservation. You can ask the coast guards to release hatchlings to the sea by giving them some money as donation. You will spend a whole day here at the beach and stay overnight on the boat/klotok near the beach.

FIFTH DAY

Tanjung Keluang Beach – Kumai – Pangkalan Bun / Airport

After waking up  having breakfast at 7 AM, you take a short  break to match your flight schedule in order to be able to arrive at the airport 2 hours before your departure. The trip will be continued to Kumai. After arriving at Kumai  you will be taken to the airport for your next trip

BOOKING AND PAYMENT:

1. Booking tour package made ​​at least 15 days before the date of the tour, and preferably one month prior to departure date.

3. Booking tour package, we will admit when there is down payment of 30% of tour price.

4. Additional costs 4% of the amount paid if payment is done with PayPal (the exchance rate based on PayPal)

5. The remaining payments are paid after arrival at the boat.

6. Changes in the tour schedule to do a minimum of 10 days before the date of the first tour bookings.

7. Booking flight tickets through us, payment must be paid off.

8. In the event of cancellation of the down payment you are already in the transfer will be returned 50% of down payment you are paying after the cut shipping costs.
