ORANGTAN TOUR TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK

FIRST DAY

Pangkalan Bun / Airport - Kumai – Tanjung Harapan

After arriving in the airport, you will be picked up by a tour guide and he will take you directly to Kumai the trip from the airport to the dock where the boat is located takes about 20 minutes by car. Arriving at the dock you will be introduced to the team which consist of the boat captain, a crew, a guide, and a cook who will accompany you during your Orangutan Tour Tanjung Puting, your trip will be continued using the boat / Klotok to the first camp in Tanjung Puting National Park area. The boat will go along a big river, and then will enter a small river called Sekoyer.

The tour program in the first day is visiting Tanjung Harapan to see feeding Orangutans at 03.00 PM. After that you go back to the boat and continue the trip along the river to the next camp called Pondok Tangguy. During the trip you will see a lot of animals at the bank of the river such as long – tailed monkeys, Proboscis monkeys and birds. Arriving here, you will stay overnight on the boat / Klotok.

SECOND DAY

Tanjung Harapan – Camp Leakey

On this day the tour will continue to visit Camp Leaky, the location of this camp is at the end of Tanjung puting national park, before visiting the orangutan feeding location, you will do trekking, enter the forest which will be accompanied by guides and rangers.

After lunch in the klotok, then at 14.00 it is time to go to the orangutan feeding location. to see orangutans who are called to go to the feeding location.

THIRD DAY

Camp Leaky  -  Pondok Tanggui – Sekonyer river

On this day the tour will continue to visit PondokTangguy, the location of this camp is in the middle of Tanjung Puting National Park, the time for feeding orangutans at this location is at 09.00. and at this feeding location oranghutan will also be called to go to the feeding location.

After lunch on the klotok, then the klotok will shift to the location of a village and if you want, then you will be invited to visit a village to see the activities of residents in the village of Sungai Sekonyer.

followed by a klotok/boat ride along the river to spot wild animals on the riverbank. Arriving at the estuary, you will spend the night by the river and enjoy dinner while watching fireflies.

FOURTH DAY

Sekonyer river - Kumai - Pangkalan Bun / Airport

After waking up, having breakfast at 07.00 AM, you take a short break to match your flight schedule, in order to be able to arrive at the airport 2 hours before your departure. The trip will be continued to Kumai. After arriving at Kumai, you will be taken to the airport for your next trip
